Bandwidth exceeded

Hi, Over the last couple of days I seem to be getting a lot of bandwidth exceeded errors. I don’t think I’ve ever had these before. Is this a temporary system issue or will I have to rewrite my scripts and request data more slowly?

I’m not aware of any system-wide outages that would’ve caused you to receive these errors.

I’d suggest reviewing the “limits” section of the API documentation to ensure you are making requests to our specification.

Thanks Alex, it occured over a period of a few days so i slowed the requests right now which reduced the error from every run to just occasionally.
Then it seemed to resolve itself. I’ve set it back to more frequent requests and it’s running fine so it seems to have been a temporary glitch
